🔥 What are your Chess rating goals for 2025? 🔥

For me, my goal is 2000.

I've done some training in 2024, I think I can do it.

Also, please write how you plan on achieving your goal.

1000 Rapid

Way to achieve: Play more chess, do tactics puzzles, watch YouTube videos, stop blundering Queens

More specifically, for rapid I think I can achieve 2000 this year. Blitz might be more difficult but I'll try. Idk about FIDE to be honest, minimum 1500.

Mid-year update:

I was busy with uni but I've adjusted now, so I can continue on my goal.

Mid year update no 2, I hit 1200 Rapid from around 1160 in a single tournament. I am confident that I'll hit 2000 with more effort by December.

1500 daily chess.

4 Goals:

1. Mental exercise.

2. Have fun.

3. Healthy socialization.

4. Be a good witness to others.

I don't really know if I want to do this anymore. What I've enjoyed most about chess was creative thinking, not for the competitive nature, especially above 2000. I don't feel like I can get into that.

1000 Rapid

1000 Rapid. I fell below it after a long time of not using this account, and have had some problems with tilt. I have however had a run of wins (anti-tilt?) and have reached 978 in Rapid. Fingers crossed...
