What are your six moves?

White gets to make six free moves in place of his first move but nothing can cross to Blacks half of the board. What would your six moves be without moving past the fourth rank?

MY MOVES: d4, e4, Nf3, Bc4, O-O, and Nc3.

c4, d4, e4, Nc3, g3 and Bg2.

e4 d4 Qf3 Bc4 Nh3 Nc3 should be easy to win.

If one piece can go to the 5th rank then you can get a position with forced mate by

e4 Bc4 Qh5 h4 Rh3 Rf3

Actually OP's question is interesting, although six seems like a really arbitrary number.

c4 d4 e4 f4 Nc3 Nf3 - because I like symmetry (and pawns).

h4 h5 h6 hxg7 gxh8=Q Qxg8 +-

e4 Bc4 Bxf7 Bxe8

I think people have neglected the rules of the topic which were "nothing can cross to Blacks half of the board".

Otherwise you would only need 4 moves: e4 Bc4 Qf3 Qxf7++.  Obvs. 

or e4 Bc4 Nf3 Ne5 Qf3 d4 is forced mate.
