my last few threads were a bit off but still about chess. it wouldn't have gotten off topic but chess.com got me a bit angry by locking an unbiased fun fact. so, what do you guys think about the Scandinavian? to me it seems like it goes against opening principles, that is what makes it so intriguing I would like to learn more about it, what is your experience with the Scandi?

I would like some insight! from the get go it seems kinda befuddling, I would like to know the basic variations and the core idea of this unorthodox opening that until I learn more, seems a bit off.

There's an Openings forum.

It's fine, the Qd6 variation, the Portuguese, and the classic Qa5. All good.
