 I did not lose, mate. I just quit because it seemed so bizarre.

It  is possible, though, I would have lost had I continued...I can't say.

But please, don't pity me. I've got plenty of energy and drive for learning chess and things will be all right.

I've had problems with games like that--including an ongoing one, so I can't mention specifics. The tricky part is figuring out a way to neutralize that early committal of the queen to the assault without allowing her to take a rook, knight, or whatever.
