if u lose to some rated 300-400 points below u then either they are cheating or sandbagging

I feel fine considering I am also a VERY low rated player

I just lost to a player 600 points below me in 960. I was up 2.90, starting an exchange of a pair of rooks and the queens when I forgot to take his queen. I was looking at the analysis board which was the position after I traded queens, making the NEXT move in the sequence, so he just took my queen off the board free and clear. No cheating involved. I wasn't even outplayed, I just got careless and shot myself in he face. Cost me 219 rating points!!

Losing is part of the game.

in the Elo system, a difference of 400 points means that the higher rated player has about a 92% chance of winning. This means that he still loses about 1 in 10. Just accept it and move on.
