During a long OTB game (more than a hour each) I like to walk in the playing hall and watch other people games, drink water and if my opponent think for a very long time I might even take a walk in the playing hall (like Peter Svidler)

I only play blitz and bullet online so I can't do much while my opponent is thinking but If I played long time controls on the internet I guess I would do the same.

I always play chess when baseball is on. For those of you that aren't mlb baseball fans, there's a whole lot of nothing happening in between pitches, during reviewable plays, trips to the mound and pitching changes.
