Win or lose I always thank my opponent for the game.
The OP's been here for 3 yrs and this is in "help & support" ??
In a State Championship tournament, I played this guy and at one point I forked his queen and mate. He cried for the next 10 minutes. All I was able to muster was,"Hello?" Then I left the room and ate a croissant.
After each check, I type a smiley in the chat ":)". Then when I checkmated him, I typed a ":D" in chat. I don't know if it's a super smiley or whatever.
I don't say anything... it would be a waste of valuable gloating time.
