What does it mean if someone says something like, "The rook is embarrased

I've heard chess youtubers analyze games and say that a certain piece is embarrased if the piece goes there. I've always wondered, what do they mean by that?

Mainline_Novelty

Usually it means that said piece is trapped.

I've heard similar phrases and taken them to mean that it's a terrible square for the piece to be on, like placing your knight on a1 for no good reason.

Edit: Mainline_Novelty's point about the piece being trappable is also true, as I've definitely heard it used for that too.
