i spent a week in DC, every afternoon i went there. enjoyed the play for sure.

Sure, there a homeless people hanging around Dupont Circle.
However, I met lots of great players and made great friends there.
Play chess and don't worry about them.
Hello, is here anyone who would like to play a few games @ Dupon Circle someday? I am new in the D.C. and would love to meet some local people, especially chess players.
Any update on this place? Wondering if games are at night, also do they hustle like nyc and charge for games?
Same would love to know if anyone has been here recently?
Folks were playing yesterday. I was the first there with my friend and had some spectators and nice conversation. I expect it is busier in the evening, going back today.

I was there today and I can attest that the chess scene is alive and well in DuPont Circle. I went on a Sunday. The guys there told me the busiest days are Friday thru Sunday but you can find a game any day of the week. And up the street is the Board Room which hosts chess meet ups every Monday. 
Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know that there lots of games going on at Dupont Circle in Washington DC. I heard about it and played for the first time tonight-it was fun!
