What does "ext" mean?

Examples from ChessBase 9

½-½ Vybiral,Z (2240)-Matras,A (2279)/Frydek Mistek 2005/CBM 105 ext

½-½ Dimitrov,V (2495)-Mirkovic,S (2360)/Vrnjacka Banja 1996/EXT 2000

Normally ext means extension but I don't "get it" in this context...something to do with postal tnmts since the 2nd example has 2 dates?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out here!
