What Does the Engine Evaluation Setting Do?

Under Live Chess in Settings there's one called Engine Evaluation... Am I going to see the evaluation throughout my games? I'd test it but I don't want to get banned. 🥺👉👈

I don’t know what it is but if it is one of the settings then you won’t get banned by using it.

No, it doesn't show you the evaluation while you play and turning off the automatic analysis doesn't stop it from running after a game.

There are some things in the settings that don't appear to function.

"Engine evaluation" is not even listed in the Help topic on live chess settings --. https://support.chess.com/article/2004-live-chess-settings

Says that it turns evaluation on/off when you are watching games.

Hmmm okay, thanks. So it's just redundant because there's the on/off switch that appears anyway when spectating a game.
