I teach English too.  It's a trip, huh?  How long have you been at it?  This is my first year at the high school level, and I teach all freshmen.

nuclearturkey

I don't know why, but I couldn't imagine you as a teacher flags... Cool

It strikes me that Brother Mouzone would be a natural.

haha  i've been at it 5 years.  i teach 2 freshmen classes (teaching romeo and juliet right now!) and 3 classes of British Lit Honors to seniors and juniors.  i love so much about teaching but it can be hard sometimes.  mostly having the summers off and getting so many periodic days off makes it all even out.  i also coach soccer.

Astronomy, gardening, listening to music and playing D&D. Used to do a lot of backpacking but not for many a year now, there just isn't enough time to do all I would like to do these days.

Ah, Romeo and Juliet.  I've got to get my pacing down.  We've been at it since the beginning of the semester, and I'm just now beginning Act IV.  They like all the dirty jokes, but other than that, it's been a slog.

A friend of mine who also teaches says that he teaches for free and gets paid to grade papers.  That seems about right.

Grobe, so glad someone got the handle.  That show is one of the single finest pieces of art I've seen/read/listened to in a long time.
