Might just be one of those instances where he had an undiagnosed heart defect. Who knows?

people are saying that Kramnik's accusations made him feel suicidal.

That’s really sad 😔 RIP

My personal theory is that, due to his kind nature, he felt a lot of stress and pressure from a lot of things, mainly the cheating accusations. So he resorted to dr*gs, which I don’t think is like him at all, but who knows.

But take my opinion with a grain of salt.

How do we know that his death? There might be a possibility that he faked his death because no cause of death are given, only his family and the chess club claims that he is dead. He might stay hidden to escape the critisism of some bad people and left the public.

Yeah this is also possible

i suspect he may have taken his own life, due to stress, pressure, and harrassment. very tragic.

he looked really bad in his last stream. ive been there on 3 days with no sleep before. When you dont sleep for a long time the results can be really bad especially if youre a chess player, and he was top 70 in the world. Some chess players will never get diagnosis for their mental health. I dont know if he was on drugs but i saw sleep deprivation, drugs would make it even worse. Anytime i dont sleep for a long time i feel like jumping off a cliff so maybe it was just sleep deprivation, either his last stream was really hard to watch.

The most I've had from an all nighter was 1-3 days usually I get 4-6 hours of sleep which seems fine (and occasionally naps ) sleep deprecation can be really bad tho 3 days feels like death

even one day is bad even for an average person

Eh it can be but allnighter 1 day once a month probably won't do anything now an allnighter 1 day a week sure

I'm sure Danya was no stranger to all-nighters - he played speed chess instead of sleeping on many occasions.

What he showed in his last stream didn't seem like exhaustion - he looked panicked, saddened, distressed ...

That sounds like depression and heightened anxiety

Of all the theories, mental health was most likely. The Kramnik cheating allegations had been bothering him for years. In one of his streams, he said he can't play well off screen or he'd be accused of cheating. It clearly took a toll on him, evidenced by his last stream, and his statements leading up to it. Did he take his own life? We don't know. Maybe it was caused by his health slowly deteriorating due to stress and pressure. Chess takes a physical toll. Even more so when some Russian guy is rampaging around accusing people of cheating and trying to ruin their reputation.

The police are investigating, and they imply his death has been confirmed.
