I think Chess.com should reward their most active players (legend). Probably a free 1 year membership would be a win-win for both parties.
What happens if I get Legend league?

There are over 1 million members in the Legend club. While some are titled that's easily over a million dollars in memberships and an additional 25,000+ members added each week. While awarding memberships isn't a direct cost, that's seems like an unlikely scenario as it would decrease some premium upgrades, and potentially a lot of them.
Are there any benefits for getting Legend?
