What happens when you run an engine on the Starting Position?

Just wondering, from the start position, white to move (or black lol but white obviously), if you run an engine, which top moves does it reccommend? I know they're all really similar (e4, d4), really close, and it doesn't matter, but what does the engine say? Someone try Fritz or Rybka?

Thanks in advance. Just wondering.

I'm guessing d4 or e4 would come out as the best... releases Bishops.

I think that without an opening book they prefer to develop a piece with 1.Nf3 - but that's just in my experience with non-modern engines.

My Toyota just leaks oil all over the pieces.

Rybka looks about 14-15 moves deep and generally prefers 1. Nf3.

arn't their any... numbers? like 0.15 or something ahead, that sort of thing? i remember my coach (chess club) using fritz to teach us a little once (huray?), and the moves had numbers beside them, like your above by this much... as in points i think. so 1.00 would be 1 pawn up. 1 point up.
