If it's club match daily games, C.C will credit the player who was victimized by the 'fair play' violator with wins in the match, but not in the player's game stats. If the game was lost in a tournament, it stands.
What happens with games you lost against cheaters ?

https://www.chess.com/club/matches/933804. Board 4. One game was in progress. That's the red 0; lost on time. The other was originally a loss for me; reversed to a win

Anything ?...nothing ? I just looked back at my old games and found at least one person who beat me and has now been thrown out due to " violating fair play rules"...presumably that means he cheated ?!
You mean you have actually played someone that doesn't cheat.
Sorry, not sure what I did to my original reply, but in case anyone else is looking for the same answer, I'll repost.
Chess.com answers the question here:

They say:
- We do not and cannot "restore" other users' ratings to what they would be in an alternate dimension where the Fair Play abuser never existed! Don't worry - just keep playing! You'll get better for it!).

and this ?!
"We do not and cannot "restore" other users' ratings to what they would be in an alternate dimension where the Fair Play abuser never existed! Don't worry - just keep playing! You'll get better for it!)."
Points restored or not, In the long run I'm not sure a few points matters much. Ultimately, our rating pretty much settles in to representing what we actually are as players. Yes, you'll lose a few games to cheaters, but most people don't, and in the end losing to one doesn't cost that much - especially if you're trying to get better and not just protect a record or a rating.

and this ?!
"We do not and cannot "restore" other users' ratings to what they would be in an alternate dimension where the Fair Play abuser never existed! Don't worry - just keep playing! You'll get better for it!)."
It is inconsistent with what actually happens.
I think the text is old, they never used to reinburse points.

It seems you just lose, 😠😠😠 I've completed 4 tournaments and been knocked out of 3 of them by players who were later banned for violating fair play rules. 😭😭😭😭😭

Problem is, you've been knocked out and if the next round has already started by the time they've been caught, tough luck, you're out. 😠😠😠😠

The tournaments had specific ratings, ie 1600-1800 on the first one, been beaten by someone way over 2000 is most definately cheating.
the problem starts when a person gets bitter.the tuf f. stuf f.
starts with you. let me set an example.(when you are driving
in a vehicle and some jerk (stupid-river) cuts you of f. he is
jerk! so to set the record straight YOU get up-set. Well all yo-
ou are doing is prove-ing you are stup-pid Er? you see now
why another person has controll over you. Sit back ree-lax &
may-bee read some-thing interesting. Problem solved! That
person has a problem...? not YOU! Let it be ty Wizz-Dome.

Yeah sure, some cheating is worse than others but cheating is cheating.
It isn't doing you any favors to whine or moan about sandbaggers or their ilk. What if they were brand new to chess and just happened to be stronger than their rating bracket? I was certainly head and shoulders superior to you my first month playing.
1st of all, I'm not whining and moaning about sandbaggers or their ilk, they're only fooling themselves, the thread's about cheating which is why I commented about these sad people, I can assure you I've not lost any sleep over it.
2nd they wasn't new, just sandbagging
3rd and most hilarious, "I was certainly head and shoulders superior to you my first month playing" lol you've only played 2 games on this account and you're 600 points behind my 1st months total.
Anything ?...nothing ? I just looked back at my old games and found at least one person who beat me and has now been thrown out due to " violating fair play rules"...presumably that means he cheated ?!
