Not to take the forums seriously.

I learned how many idiots there are on the Internet.

I learned to accept that majority people that play chess have some form of complex.

I'll get back to you on that one. 

Even in the world of chess you run into really immature/unsportsmanlike/disrespectful players. 

(Giving abuse in chat, refusing to resign in forced mate in 1's, leaving their computer in a losing position with 10+ minutes on the clock. using a chess engine etc.)
