I learned that I don't even care to know what a meme is.

I learnt how hard it is to become a GM, ......I sit & wonder what the make up of magnus carlsen mum breast milk was like. It must of been a good drop of stuff....    unfortunately I was stitched up & put on  SMA gold

I've always recognized your avatar, but never bothered trying to remember the name of the game... I can't believe I actually remember it...

Anyway, it leads me to believe you're not 80 years old, so you should know what a meme is... unless your kids were the ones playing commander keen.

Well, almost nothing to be learned here, 

1. 25% of posts are losers/whiners 

2. 25% of posts are sexism/and or flaring women

3. 25% of posts are people with big ego posting crappy games

4. 24% of posts are trolls

5. Only  1%  is a golden valuable post.

I also learned that I best fit into Category 4. This night is going downhill for me...

I learned that boil frog offense.  fun read and playing around with positions, they can actually be improved upon.  the site is awesome, I am looking forward to learning how to teach myself more

Yes.

I don't belong to any right now, but if you find an active one with people you like it can be a lot of fun.

Open Discussion used to be fun, but I (and most others) mostly went there to argue about politics/religion.

Maybe it's still fun, I don't know.

Other clubs play team tournaments and vote chess, and that can be fun.
