What if a boy became Women's World Chess Champion?

Would chess get more attention than Polgar ,Kosteniuk or Yifan could ever bring in chess?

As gender identity and gender roles start becoming fuzzier, I hope to one day see a transgendered chess player climb along the ranks of these priviledged cis-gendered women and show once and for all that gender is irrelevant. What better way than to win the Women's World Championship, a segregating and dehumanizing remnant of the patriarchy?

Given the trauma of genital rearranging surgery, I think someone who underwent it might not be in best shape to play a strenuous WC level match.

my personal opinion is this has nothing to do with chess, but I believe more than that could someone from the streets make it to the top. Don't steal my movie idea ¶m.

It's possible that the boy on the left could be a great chess player than get a sex change surgery to become a beautiful girl and be women's world champion...what a story

I've heard that after 10,000 hours of sex surgery you can master any sex.  So yes, it's possible.

A hermafrodite or a person that has changed sex has less chances than a woman to win women chess championship. The reason for that is that they are outnumbered.

The reason for women not winning the open class is that they are outnumbered.

Which sex doesnt mean anything in a chessgame, but women as chesspopulation is very small compared to men, and because of that the number of female masterplayers are low. The number of hermafroditemasterplayers are even lower, because the hermafroditechesspopulation is smaller.

If that streetplayer joined a club before the age of nine, his chances would optimize.

About great players popping up from nowhere. That happens. Great players are downloaded from the internet, where they have played hard for a long time before they suddendly materialize in an OTB-tournament.

Yes, they can. I signed up for USCF back in 1999 or so along with someone from Hawaii. We were rated the same. I am now a 1300 USCF rated player while he is now a 2100 USCF rated player...

It's true, to be a transgender you don't even have to do an operation. You just have to say you want to be a different gender. So I'm surprised male chess players don't take that route.
