What if a girl became World Chess Champion?

The term "feminist" is meaningless because FunkyDerivative hasn't  defined precisely what it means, it is similar to describing the weather as "hot". He may (or may not) know what he means, but the reader is left to guess or unhesitatingly assumes. I have no idea what he means.

Two things are self evident here -

One, there would be instant greater interest in the game, and two, any chap who was unwise enough to even intimate that it would depend on how attractive the women was, would be well advised to emigrate to the wilderness of Alaska for his own safety...

ChessBystander

Ironic, all this emphasis on intellect, and so little on wisdom. The world could use a whole lot more of the latter.

The Main Reason a Female will Never become World Chess Champion is because they lack the “Killer Instinct” Inherent in Males!

Which has taken thousands of years to fine Tune Stemming from Testosterone built up from Male Aggression! Needed to be the Main Hunter Gatherers for food Water Etc. while Humans lived in Caves.

The “Killer Instinct” is something that cannot be Learnt or Taught! You either have it or you are a Female!

You know absolutely nothing about the development of homo sapien if you think men are bigger and stronger so they could hunt for food and water.

Peacocks have bright colorful feathers to scare off predators.

Geez, I would have thought that would be a halfway decent guess? lol

JamieDelarosa

And why not?

Sexual dimorphism in humans stems from Australopithacine ancestors, and pre-dates hunting.

bigpoison

It's the same reason most mammalian males are larger than their female counterparts.

Pretty sure bulls neither hunt nor fetch water.

bigpoison

Ha! Pretty funny.

Yeah, I don't know what those are.

There is a point to be taken from this exchange,an axiom that would apply to.. "discussing "... any topic.Violate it at your own risk.

Ya know what a bull is, though, don'cha', looby? You're a bright young man. Ya' got one, use it.

Elubas

I know what a bull is, therefore I know what a word I never heard before is referring to?

We need a poem about Australopithecus....

"Australopithecus....four feet of primate joy!

Australopithecus... not a monkey toy.

A hominid pal, a biped friend...

We  know where Humans start....

And where they end."

JamieDelarosa

The design for Klingons (in the films, after TOS) was based on Australopithecus robustus.
