Depends on the way their brain is set up cricket has no correlation to chess so there really isn’t a way to tell until they play, I don’t think either impacts the other
If great captains and tactical masterminds like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Nasser Hussain and Imran Khan etc. played chess, would they excel at it?
