What if your opponent sleeps during the game?

If my opponent sleeps during a non-timed game , I watch videos for research purpose and experiment with my hand .

Let his clock run!
It is not legal for someone to tell a player he didn't hit his clock after he moved and when I served as an OTB tournament director for high school tournaments, unrated or other inexperienced players would forget to hit their clock after his move and his opponent would quietly sit at the board, pretending to study for his next move, waiting for his opponent to run out of time.
It would drive me crazy that I couldn't inform the player who forgot to hit the clock.
But if someone fell asleep, that's totally his fault.
I wake the opponent with 10 seconds to flagging
But what if it was a game with increment?

Interesting, I am not aware of this rule for FIDE tournaments.

I played next to a guy that fell asleep in the middle of the 3rd or 4th round in the U1900 section of the 2017 Supernationals. He fell asleep, no one woke him up. He suddenly woke up on his own with around 25 minutes left on his clock. He then proceeded to win the game

if your opponent sleeps during the game, you check to see if he brought his wallet with him. good grief, do people here need to be told that ?
I posted before this that when a sleeping player's friend tapped him on the shoulder, the player's opponent got very angry. One might argue that since it is okay to talk to a player or get his attention and talk to him away from the board, this was okay but maybe there is a rule which forbids anyone except a player's opponent (or tournament director) from talking to him at the board? That sounds reasonable but I have certainly seen many times someone talk briefly to someone at their board or certainly talk to them away from the board during a game. Is it okay to tap someone on the shoulder? The opponent sure did not think so and he may have won on forfeit but maybe the TD just warned him and since he was awake at that point it did not matter -- the sleeper's friend helped him win a game he would have lost on time.

Has been a while since I played much OTB chess, but if my opponent forgot to hit their clock I would just tell them. Same if they fell asleep. Not a fan of winning at all costs. Same with any other scenario where you could claim a win on a technicality, no pride to be had in that.
I'm not waking him up.
