what's a sensible move????

Gomer_Pyle

A sensible move is a move that is appropriate for the position. It's not a bad move and not a brilliant move. It's just a reasonable move that doesn't hurt your position. Many times, especially in the middle game, you may have several available moves with none being better or worse than the others. Often the choice between sensible, or reasonable, moves is just your personal preference in pieces or positions.
