En Passant is a special chess move that can be played when your opponent moves their pawn 2 squares forwards from its starting position, landing right next to your pawn. On your move you can take the pawn En Passant, moving diagonally in front of it. You can only play En Passant right after your opponent makes his move, if you wait one move you will no longer be able to play En Passant. Did you know that En Passant is French for "In Passing"?
