I am just curious...

i am rated 1600 in rapid, and I am curious as to what level is this.

Am I a beginner, intermediate player, or advanced player?

Cherub_Enjel

I'd classify it as a lower-intermediate level, based on my opinion of chess.com ratings. Probably class C USCF/FIDE. However, your graph shows that you've been improving, which is good.

Don't let anyone try toconvince you that black is white and up is down Stephen. Your rating means your good enough to beat over 90% of the members at Chess.com. Don't allow people to BS you because they are jealous of your success. 🇺🇸

Cherub_Enjel

^If that was a reference to me, then you should know (since you probably don't) that "Class C" refers to players rated 1400-1599, which is what the OP's rating is.

Since intermediate is classified by many as 1400-2200 or 1400-2000, this indeed is lower intermediate, according to grade 3 math, or whenever you learn to calculate the mean.

Also, you blocked me, which means I can't post in your threads. I was going to write this in response to your ratings thread:

My age is a few years older than that - just out of high school.

I don't really consider rudeness/offense online too much, so no need to apologize, although appreciate it.

I just say what I think really, giving what I think is the truth. If I come across as rude, it's probably just because I wasn't paying attention to my emotions while writing stuff.

No harm done Cherub and believe me I was not thinking of you. I was only saying that on "Chess.com" Stephen is good enough to beat over 90% of it's members which is certainly good. You see how ratings certainly does upset people? I say do away with the ratings already Jeeez.
