I've a display on my computer that tells me I'm in the 95th percentile with a 1496 rating. I thought that'd be a starting point, but I don't know where to go after that.

1200 average for casual players
1600 average for club players
2000 average for tournament players
Then there's a whole different category of "average" when you get into the titled master's pool . . .

1200 for casual players? 85th percentile for casual players? I don't think so.
800-900 which is 50th+ percentile is probably around casual.
club players probably closer to 1400-1500 average.
strong club 1800
tournament 2000+
