I have been playing chess for a while, I always play the fried liver attack for white and the kings Indian for black. I feel that the fried liver doesn't work anymore. I have been searching for a new opening for a while. What are your suggestions?

The fact that you asked this shows you have no idea what you're talking about.

I like the Spanish with white & French with black. Happy chess, 🙂♟️

Unfortunately, other than a very few “system” openings, the best moves to play in the opening vary significantly depending on your opponent’s choices. It’s difficult, but if it wasn’t everyone would be good at chess!

If you’re not fancying learning a tonne of theory, system openings do exist, or get a good grasp on opening principles and learn to avoid common traps.

I think with openings aa you become more experienced you will choose openings that guarantee an edge if you reach an ending, openings that offer a longterm backup, an example is over the board and online I get + score using the Scotch Game, reason of choice being a better pawn structure with the 4 v 3 on the kingside, I studied Kasparovs games using this opening, his victories are very instrucual he made this old opening into a weapon against some elite G.Ms its similar principle aa with the Ruy lopez exch, except whites not giving up his white sq bishop too early!?

I use the London no matter what. Since I started using it I have been winning way more. I also like the kings pawn: kings knight
