What is the best way to face +200 rated players?

It would be fun to play versus 1850-1900+ rated people in Rapid. What is the best way for me to face them? Is that in tournaments/arenas and if is it then in normal or swiss mode? I am rated around 1700 for reference. To me a win versus a 1900 would matter so much more then 20 wins versus 1700 people. I played and tournament a few days ago and I got to face a CM and other higher rated people and it was really fun. But that was a smaller Swedish torunament and swiss to so I guess the odds where higher there to face stronger player since it was smaller?

Swiss? A Swiss-style tournament matches players by results after the first round. However, the first round pairs high and low rated players.

Yes that is what I meant. Is swiss better then the other one if I want to face stronger players?

My last one was swiss and at the first round I meet a 1400 that I beat and then second round I faced a CM.

Also I just notice that you and me have played a game before happy.png that is kinda cool.

Yes, in a swiss tournament you typically start with much stronger / much weaker players alternating and you end with a player of your own strength.
