What is the best way to improve my chess

Hi I am new to chess and am still learning, I am trying to improve my game and I am not sure what is the best way to improve.  I do not know wheather it is to study openings, learn tactics, or just play lots of games.  Your help is much appreciated.

You need to learn the very basics in tactics. Study the basics of openings.

If you play games--you need to be able to determine your mistakes after the game and inprove on your mistakes.

You need to know the basic endgames also-including Pawn endgames.

With a paid membership so make use of the Study Plan under Learn tab. I tried a few and it is ok.

If u wanna b a gm,drop out of school,if possible.

And stop your day job.
