What is the difference beetween great moves, and best moves?

I dont understand the difference beetween best moves, and great moves. Brilliant moves are mostly sacrifices that end to give you an advantage, like a checkmate. I know that brilliant moves are rarer than best moves, but great moves seem like best moves to me! Does some one know?
