Yes, which is why I bet 3500 elo but I also suspect it was coded to always have an elo 1000 higher than its opponent.

i think it's gonna be fun if we create a vote chess battle against Mittens
I put mittens against the maximum chess bot (3200), and maximum barely won, however, it was one move that cost mittens the game, and I have heard others say mittens beat maximum, and mittens also beat Gotham twice, so I would say she is at least 3000.
Clearly around 3500 Elo give or take a few if you compare with stockfish.

mittens got 97.1 accu with 1 great move, 0 inac, 0 mistake, 0 blunders, 0 missed wins & my cheat got 96.5 accu with 1 great move, inac, 0 mistake, 0 blunder and 0 missed wins

Very easy to beat it in 1|0 indeed - many people beat it by flagging her with that time control. This caused many players, including me, have presumed Mittens may be cheating and it's the reason why we can beat her in bullet. Also, as pointed out by @Ilama36 (https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/what-is-the-mittens-bots-real-elo?page=3#comment-74150579), when the bot is beaten, she calls her opponent a cheater. More adding to our suspicions of Mittens being the actual cheater herself.
Easy win right away. Put it at 2100. Its a low class tactical engine.

Mittens sometimes plays the traxler and other dubious things but is always attacking and being annoying. I think its a version of stockfish that just plays sharp lines by identifying what moves lead to positions with only moves but not always following stockfish's recomendation, just a guess though.
Maybe Stockfish with less theory?
