anyone know?
What Is The Most Common Way Someone Is Having A "Bad Day" in Chess?
There are probably a thousand reasons why you might not have a clear focused mind on any particular day. Let's just lump them all together and call it stress.
Do you possibly mean, "What is the most common w̶a̶y̶ reason someone is having a bad day..."?
yes thx for clearifying
- Their Clash of Clans on Iphone crashes
- They go to the Komodo and Bell and Apple and Sony and Future Shop stores but it's too expensive
- They say "I can make a IOU"
- "No sorry no IOU's"
- "DAMNIT!"
- *Plays the first round of tourney, rated 2800 FIDE, loses to scholar mate to a 200 FIDE*
- *Insert swear words here*
- *Goes to nearest bar, gets drunk and commits suicide*
- *Goes to heaven and tells God "I was having a bad day. You can't possibly blame me!"*
- "Yeah yeah yeah go to hell." Said God
- "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
- The End
"*Plays the first round of tourney, rated 2800, loses to scholar mate to a 200*"
That is actually possible if you account for the 2800 being an Internet rating and the 200 being BCF

Huh?
BCF ratings are very deflated since they're triple digits (a 200 BCF would be something like a CM or whatever) whereas Internet ratings tend to be inflated.

Oh well, please read carefully, it's FIDE.

Also, that means you're saying a 2800 online (if I didn't say FIDE) dosen't know about Scolars mate. AND you're saying a CM or whatever will try scholars mate.

ofc.
If a beginner has a 2800 rating on a site, then the CM will have something like a 4200 rating and would plausibly think to try a scholars mate.

I know it. You Know it. Everyone has bad chess days but why?
