also its... literally impossible with good play for the bishop to leave

The queen is the most useless piece. But bishops and knights aren't much better.

I think it's the a and h pawns they block the rooks and can't control the center aswell

In chess. Everything is relative to the position. Maybe a wbishop on a1, wpawns on a3, b2, c1. Bpawns on a4, b3, c2 with some amount of support. Thats like a Jorchaervvdkdkskxn bishop right?
