What is the proper response to "gg"?

i don't know. if someone thinks they enjoyed the game and say 'gg', it doesn't hurt to say gg back.

Not knowing why it should be so complicated when it's easy to just keep it simple, I believe it proper oh most excellent Theophilus to respond to "gg" with only one word:

antidisestablishmentarianism

Kansha

I like saying "Thanks, you too!" Sorta like a virtual handshake :)

heinzie

UrsaWarrior

Yeah: gg back to them. Or, maybe "Wanna rematch?"

As we have previously established beyond a doubt, saying "gg" is unforgivable arrogance. Although it involves expense and inconvenience, the only way a gentleman can respond to "gg" is to immediately drop everything, go to the airport, book a flight to the city where the "gg" criminal lives--no matter where in the world, take a taxi to the offender's home, knock on the door, and when he answers the door, punch him in the face and tell him "gg" is arrogance!

Then you go back to your waiting taxi, return to the airport, and fly back home. This may seem inconvenient and expensive, but a man's got to do what a man's got to do!

Well, i think gg is better than saying nothing.

xwarriour

maybe we can replace gg with NABG (not a bad game). seems more modest.

Normally when a player types gg it means he is complementing his opposition too, but if u dont agree, type whatever u want. u have atleast that much freedom as there is no rulebook named "responses to gg".

Deep contemplation over this question gave me cancer.

Reply with triple g.

At first I didn't know what "gg" meant, though I knew it wasn't a typo.

Once I knew, I thought it was pretty cool, especially when someone

I really admired had just beaten me: Felt it as a wonderful compliment!

If it is used indiscriminately, then it loses its charm, I suppose?

Ah, I can see it if the winner says "gg", optionally, at their discretion.  When the loser says it, to me, I'm not sure how to reply, espescially if they weren't extremely formidable.

you can say 'fo' or 'stfu'

It's always interesting how, when I refuse to adopt one extreme, some people typically try to pigeonhole me into the opposite one, when I'm opting for neither.

willbecomeaGM

I would reply thanks and maby request a rematch
