Ok, I read his thread last night, and you are right, he deleted some of his early post. It's hard to me to understand what he wants, but It seems to me that he wants to find out too what's the real meaning of ''strategic position''.
Don't we all struggle with this question, how to strategically position not just our pieces, but ourselves in life?

Developement (I think) usually refers to the opening, where you develop pieces and get them out where they control more of the board. Strategic positions are position that control key squares (checkmate threat, weak spot in opponent's defense, etc). Hope this helps!

Yeah I notice that too, seems his just only want to listen to borgqueen than anybody else. Finally, I can read now his comments in page 15 of his thread, I think I will understand now what he wants to know, in the next pages.
