What are the numbers in brackets next to a players name during a game? It looks like this: [3.0]

It's showing that player's score against that particular opponent.  Wins are 1 point, draws are 0.5 losses are 0.

Perhaps -.5 for losing a position you felt was won.

You might have felt it was won, but at the end of the day you still lost the position. Speaks for itself.

Yeah. I've been having a lot of these lately. Since I started studying, it seems I've found a whole new set of ways to lose a game.
