Just sore losers. Welcome to the internet, lol. I have this happen at least twice a month, and I have to sit for much longer than 10 minutes in many cases (up to 40 or 50, depending on how early in the game they ragequit).
What is up with people like this?
Serious chess players don't do this, typically. I have seen people just sit there when staring at a mate in 2 in tournament games, but these people are without exception very weak.
I believe this comes from people who like chess and have designs on getting good results (or even those delusional folks who think it takes only a short while to become a master), but who don't know how difficult the game really is. When they are playing a game, and getting crushed badly, they aren't prepared to handle it, and react in ways described above.
At least that's what I suspect is behind such behavior!
Its not worth getting mad. You can just start another live chess game (if you have multi games in the settings), and it wont matter at all.
no i want you to explain yourself, also voting heal f3 is not highjacking especially when the after the natural e5 Kf2 actualy has 50% wins in the chess.com database, so it is a theoreticaly perfect opening go hammerschlang

dude you need to think that just cause some one says he likes something doesnt mean it is wrong, and to reeiterate blocking people doesnt do anything, it only leads to what is going on between checkmateiamsofatihavetowearaskirt and I
yes it does it means you are like antisocial maaaaann!!!!! duedss this stufff isss like migghtay guuddd maaannnn!!!!! jk
I do that sometimes. Sorry, i suck i know. But i really hate to lose. I have no problem losing to nice people who talk and stuff (write), bit I hate those who don't even say "gl hf" or something (i do say that). I also hate when i get checked like 20 times in a row. The sound it makes really gets me mad
when i am losing horably i blitz out my moves even faster, because i dont want to waste time on a loss either that or i resign
oh and the only reason i am not attacking an unnamed member is because some one else redirected this on topic
checkmateiamaderangedlunatic blocking people isnt the solution, just dont accept challanges from them, and count their comments but dont pay attention to them. And what about your post saying ifi dont block you you wont block me
Blocking is one mans solution, not accepting future challenges is anothers, niether is right nor wrong simply a matter of choice.
Okay, you start a game of chess. The other player moves at a normal pace. Eventually you gain a small advantage. You turn that small advantage into a bigger advantage, and again another bigger advantage.
Eventually you come down to a crushing advantage where your opponent has no defense left and they know it.
Then they start to move extremely slow, and sometimse d/c.
Then you are sitting there for 10 or so minutes when you have like a mate in 10 or less moves coming up... but your opponent is taking forever to move they don't resign they just waste your time watching them lose on time.
