What is your favorite chess piece?

To start, mine is probably the rook, but it changes

Mine is the queen, because she is the most powerful piece and the second important one, after the king.

May I ask why the rook is your favorite?

idk really, maybe becuase it can still be easily used, but is less important than the queen, and you have two of them

If you say anything other than the King surely it's treason?

I love the Knight

The Pawn. Everyone will say queen, but every pawn is a potential queen. You can turn far more pawns into queen than there is the single beginning queen.

Because the Knight is the trickiest piece - lots of Forks, and it can jump over pieces while others can't.

i got a guy with Qg8 check, RxQ, Nf7 smothered mate and he screamed

”omg that’s beauuuutiful!!”

also the knight is the only piece that can checkmate by itself.

Of course my choice is Queen. But i want a new queen with added movements of Knight. As it's Queen has both the movements of Rook and Bishop, why to deny Queen the movements of a Knight - Let us call this new piece as Super Queen .

I would love to play with an opponent with this Super Queen.

Games will end very fast with Super Queen.

There actually *is* a "Super Queen" piece that is used in several variants. It is called the Amazon, and it moves like a Queen and Knight combined. It is worth 12 points.
