What is your least fav chess opening to play against?

I am unfamiliar with names but I hate playing as black against d4. I play d5 and they usually play c5 or move a knight out.

I don't like the French. It seems I have a basic choice. Either get a very dry position, or a strategic mess I don't really understand. I play e4 e6 d4 d5 3.Nc3

After 1.d4 d5 2.c4 you could look into the lasker QGD. Straightforward ideas and very solid should help you get a comfortable game without much work.

If you like more of a mess to create winning chances then at the other end of the spectrum are the Baltic or Budapest.
They begin with the moves 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5 and 1.d4 d5 2.c4 Bf5

I don't like Sicilian ofcourse. It gives Black much of choices

I really hate the queen pawn game. After 1.d4, 2.c4, I have to deal with the entire cramping sequence. Nimzo-Indian, Slav and K.I.D. are what best suits me (I believe that the Grunfeld's not worth the pain!). What's best is if I play 1..Nf3 and he doesn't play 2.c4. That's great! Now I can play.

French defense exchange variation. I'd love the French defense as black, if not for this freaking annoying variation which is very hard to avoid if white really intends to play it. Sure, it's "equal" theoretically, but if black wants to play solidly with the c6 setup, it gets so freaking dry.

And unfortunately, most of the attempts by black to liven it up, just end up weakening your position and giving white targets. (Similar is true for the white side, though.)

Just go Smith-Morra against c5. Gives white a fun attacking game in the vast majority of circumstances, and isnt hard at all for white to learn the basics of, whereas it's a lot easier for black to go wrong unless he studies specific lines. And even if he does, white still gets a strong attack.

Th Scandenavian. Always a strange set up with lots of space between the two sides. I usually play knight to F3 rather than exchange to try and add some spice to the line.

It honestly doesnt matter, i just need to get to a playable middlegame.  If an opening gives me problems i study up on it.

Caro kann classical system is a tough nut to crack against players with a draw first mindset.  I go for panov attack, but don't do too well either.

I hate when white does something weird like play f4. That sort of thing throws me off. It does make a workable opening and it really annoys me because it almost feels overconfident. Though, that may sound hypocritical because if I have black pieces and white plays d4, I play f5, which is basically the same thing.

I won't tell you it is the Alekhine Axx, because you will specifically study it to beat meEmbarassed

1 e4.  I've tried every defense.  Nothing suits me.
