What is your opinion on Kramnik's "No Castling Chess"?

Personally, I think it is an excellent variant.  It makes things very interesting indeed.

I kind of like it, though from what I've seen from games with computers, they often manually castle.

They were explaining the update to Stockfish 16 on Youtube, and one thing they mentioned was that since the engines are so high rated now they have to play with material odds to improve the engine. They will play 10 games with one handicap position, then swap sides and do the same.

I wonder if they did no-castling for one side, but the other side could castle and swap sides similarly.
