Who can teach me to play? it's interesting.
Do you knwo how to play chess?
Anybody who says "rapid is inflated compared to blitz" is incorrect. THEY ARE 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS.
Online ratings are meaningless,
Pretty sure that's something only said by people with low ratings
Ouch! In my defence I did state online ratings are meaningless TO A DEGREE, I should have clarified that by saying cheating is so easy and can be used intermittently to avoid detection.

They are two completely different things, but on average rapid ratings are significantly higher than blitz ratings. Someone who is equally good at both time controls will have a much higher rapid rating, especially so below 2000.
Why do i feel like topics like these tend to turn into a chaotic and very subjective opinion soup I appreciate @KeSetoKaiba trying to give a more nuanced and useful answer
I suspect gabe was going off the chess.com classification of 1200 as the threshold for intermediate and 1600 as the threshold for advanced, since 1300 is indeed midway-ish between 1200 and 1600.
why next few weeks?
why next few weeks?
Cos currently he’s 1100 again and I’m gonna assume it’ll take him a wee while to get high rated again

lol yeah i was confused why @AccountRemaker didn't play more games to get higher, do you comprehend this?
1775 is Intermediate. I would say that 1800 is the first meaningful milestone so you are doing well. Bear in mind though that Chess.com ratings are quite inflated.
100-800 = beginner
800-1500 = intermediate
1500-1800 = advanced
1800-2000 = Candidate Master, FIDE Master, National Master (CM - FM - NM etc)
2200-2400 = International Master (IM)
2500+ = Grand Master (GM)
2700+ = Super Grand Master
2800+ = Magnus (GOAT)
2900+ = Cheater
3000+ = Stockfish
