Martial arts, MMA, Call of Duty.
I started martial arts and sports young, that lead my love of MMA. At one point I was one of the best Call of Duty players.
What other interests do you have apart from Chess?

i am learning to program in python! I find it very rewarding! I like to read books.
Reading the classic novels of the 18th and 19th centuries and watching documentaries about Science
Mostly other people do the killing.

Other than playing chess, I study chess. For about two hours or more every day. A lot of openings, a lot of tactics, and now that I am borderline Class A level in U.S.C.F., I also am studying more endgames.
Otherwise I used to sail competitively for my school but stopped because it didn't give me time to play chess. I also play piano but don't practice as often as I used to, and so I will never be a good piano player. I do also love watching lacrosse and American football, as well as hockey (although being a Caps fan during playoff season is torturous at best).

He has an expressive face. His sister has less to express, mostly, "I'm the queen."
We have a third living with us temporarily. So, yes, boxers are an active interest in addition to chess and wine.

Bowling, although I can do it in my mind better. Since I am getting older it is going down hill. I only average 190 now, 77 years old.
Writing memoirs and Fiction short pieces. Teaching beginning chess. Guitar picking. Bible study. Working on my Webpages.
Eating Food, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Real Soups not a cup but a whole meal in a bowl.
Hugging women.
Reading Technical books, Einstein, Physics, HTML/CSS. Fiction.
I miss: French bread, Salami, Partrami. Pepperoni from Round table. KFC corn on the cobb.

- Motorsports. I watch F1 almost religiously, and have taken up watching WEC as well. BTCC is always excellent, and I've been really enjoying FE as well. I'll be seeing the FE live when they come to London in July. (I also get myself into go-karts whenever I get the chance. My rating in the karts is somewhat better than my rating here...)
- Theatre. I've written, directed, written music for, done fight coreography, and performed in the theatre for ages now. One of my favourite roles was in this play at the Edinburgh Fringe 2013: https://youtu.be/xhmsZXBN7qQ
- Music. A keen guitarist and composer, I'm getting a little covers band off the ground. We'll start mixing originals into the mix when we can, but covers go faster. Previously I played in a rock band doing all original pieces: https://youtu.be/UdSu8lfeHDI
- Gaming. Currently playing Driveclub and Rogue Legacy. I need to get the new Assassin's Creed, though.
- Programming. Current projects I'm working on are embargoed though. (Also, this is what I do for money.)
- Music (I play the keyboards and flute, and listen to various music, mostly metal and folk)
- Sport (badminton, running, cycling, and bowling)
- Hiking+Geocaching
- Oldschool PC games + board games
- Beer drinking
@Morttuus Something odd about beer drinking: if you do a lot of it, then it stops being a "hobby" and starts being a "problem".

Apart from my family and chess: Running, especially marathon running. Have completed 30 marathons but unfortunately have an injury, so I haven't run a marathon since 2013. Hope to be back on the running track in a couple of months...
