I believe that pleasure is a good thing. However, to only care about obtaining it is shallow.

If pleasure is all you care about you should actually read some philosophy. It will blow your mind. I find that as exciting as when I went skydiving. To know (not just believe) that reality contradicts itself is like having the ground disappear.

However, that is not to say that I do not care about how I look. I look good in my black fedora and black trench coat. True, that is old school. But people say its sharp, However, my clothes are not my only concern.

I am an agnostic. However, if I believed that the Bible was written by an infinite mind and revealed the mysteries of the universe I would read every word. I do not respect fundamentalists that do not read the Bible. To lack any curiosity is to be a silly,shallow person.
