Oh the life of a patzer. So underrated.

Blatant engine use in slow/rapid games is relatively easy to detect - it's not about the result, but the quality of the game and how the game proceeded - if your opponent matched all engine moves, then it's that simple.

Engine use once or a few times per game, or just to check moves for safety is a whole different issue, and it's why anything involving internet chess play should always be taken skeptically.

On the other hand, bots in bullet chess are very easy to detect, no matter what.

I also believe this thread will get shut down...

You ask their wives or girlfriends, normally women have sixth sense when it comes to cheating suspicions

urk
Why is it that when some players get stomped they don't believe it's possible to get stomped like that?

Nobody has cheated on this guy.

But you didn't do that when you pretty much accused your opponent of using opening assistance in a game where you won 8 moves after the theory was over...lol

i.b.l?

You could also call tv-series "Cheaters", I believe it's on FOX, they'll find out for you

I never said he was cheating. Read the thread again. Other people than me, however, did say it.

I don't know how to tell if someone is cheating, I appreciate anyone who punishes my bad moves. Even I on occasion have games with zeros blunders, sometimes no mistakes or Inaccuracies (according to chess.com free computer). I do know I'm playing games with at least one person who is sandbagging though.

Newsflash, I won, that's because in Finland we are all winners, we have the best winners on the planet, I'll tell you that much, not even the US wins like we did, we won a war vs the USSR while heavily outnumbered, and we're the only country on the planet to have done that. They don't even know how to pronounce "Alekhine" correctly, but we do, trust me we do.Infact we have the best openings in the world, better than Russia and much, much better than the US, you don't even have a clue

I did read the thread - you were shocked that he knew all the theory lines (which I'm assuming is theory, since it's unknown to me after like move 8) of the Alekhine's defense as white. It's definitely an implication - otherwise, it's just a game you won, where your opponent happened to know a lot of theory.

It's fine though - at least you didn't accuse him/her outright.

It's true. Really. The rest of the news on this site is fake. It really is. The cheaters on chess.com are the best cheaters in the world, and we're gonna catch 'em and deport them. We're gonna make chess.com great folks, we really are.
