Im not a chess or chess book expert - but I own the following book and really enjoy it - have noticed it improved my score a couple hundred elo so far - and its on a lot of others lists as an excellent positional play book:
Pawn Structure Chess by Andrew Soltis
I agree that Soltis's book is excellent. It took my understanding of chess to a new level. As a follow up, I recommend Chess Structures: A Grandmaster Guide by Mauricio Flores Rios. It's better organized than Soltis and covers some additional structures. One of the best features in Flores's book is the attention paid to pawn structure transformations.
Python Strategy by Tigran Petrosian
