ConcentricJim

I looked through some of your games and i would recommend the Sicilian Defense. Learn to use c5 as a response to e4

Also, tactics, tactics, tactics!

Lastly, a few things that will always help your game.

1) Develop your pieces on the side you want to castle

2) As a general rule, trade your knights for bishops (exceptions apply)

3) After castling, try to avoid moving your king's protective pawns

This pieces are not hanging, these are a combo involving sacrifice.

I'm curious which game(s) are you referring to.?

That was ill-intented sarcasm, sorry ^^. But I have not looked at your games yet, so there might actually be nice combo and sac in them.

I see xD I've only ever achieved a few combos; there are certainly more mistakes than sacrifices in my games x)

Yes, play games that allow you to have time to think, such as Rapid 15 10 games. Memorize some lines you will play, and find tactics
