21 and 13 in bullet and blitz respectively.

4 games - but I don't play bullet and blitz. I don't like chess games where I have to react immeadiately.

Especially not now, that we have 32 degrees Celsius at midnight and 45 at daytime. happy.png

Please!  I get a headache every time I think about my losing streaks.  In the middle of a losing streak, I think, why am I so awful and other people are so good!

Probably around 11 or 12 losses in a row.

LateralusDSOTM

Currently on one now, think I'm at 15 defeats  in a row at the moment

josephyossi

Well, I have started 0-3 at the Oceania zonal n 2017 where I got my title and it was 9 rounds and I needed 4.5 points to get it, that hurt!

josephyossi

But u got it??

thegreatauk

Yes I managed to get it in the last round, I needed a win with black

Yeah, I don't understand it. Back in November I was rated 1630 or so. Playing against a 1400 rated player felt like absolute child's play. I felt like I didn't even have to think to win. But now, every 1400 I play against makes me feel like I'm playing against Bobby Fischer. I try as hard as I can, and I'm losing 2 out of every 3 games or so. My rating is down almost 200 points. I've had these kinds of losing streaks happen in the past, but usually it only lasts a month or so. But this has been 3 months...Does anybody else have this happen? Is it due to trends with openings?

MrJack124. I'm in the same in the same boat. In the 1200s for a long time, zoomed through the 1300s, won five straight against higher rated players and got to 1455. A false dawn. Have plummeted since making more and more blunders. Studying and analysing seems pointless. Dispiriting, and like you, waiting for the Big Turnaround.
