What should a 13 year old's chess rating should be?

I am an 1860 rapid for chess.com, do yu think that I have a shot at being a top 50 player in the world? I am 13 yo

Bruh then you would be a titled player. I am 1450, I am 13 years old and everyone who knows me considers me to be breast at chess. There is no rating that you should be, only the rating that you are and you can work to improve that

I am 36 and I am like 700. I don't think there is a "you are X years old, you should be X rating. It all comes down to how good you are. Some people pour a lot of time in at an early age. Some people started late. Some people decided to join chess clubs, seminars and the likes, where some people teaches themselves. Some people read books, some people don't.

Rating is a function of skill, not age.

There is a formula for it , works only for up to 15 years age, the formula is

your age x 100= 

eg if you are 11 years old your rating should be 11 x 100 = 1100

isnt it kinda wrong to assume that age is somehow related to rating? just train ur way to get better : p

Im in real life 1824 raitng at 13 i think its very good

I'm also 13 I'd suggest you keep playing and your rating will ultimately improve, also your rating is not very important so don't worry too much about it.

i'm 13 and im 2074 rapid. i know a few people who are around the same rating as me at this age

I'm 14 and I'm 2100. I was 1700 when I first turned 13 and 2100 when I stopped being 13 so no excuse not to be 2100 by the back end of being 13 years old

I am 12 and 1500 rapid and bullet. I think this is decent. Also for 10yrolds 1300

I'm 11 and 1300 in bullet 1000 blitz 1100 rapid 1000 otb (1500 on another site)
