What was your starting rating?

So I literally just joined, having fun. I have only played chess casually before but never took any opportunity to study or learn anything in depth aside from trial and error with friends throughout my youth. With that in mind and 25 games played I seem to be hovering at the 950s mark, which is honestly better than I expected! I personally will be thrilled if I can learn beyond a 'beginners mindset' and get myself into the 1400s or so in time. 

What was your starting rating when you first took chess 'seriously'?

OTB? Around 1100.

Online? 1200.

chess.com started me at 1200, which means that day one will be forever be my peak. I think they changed this now but I really wish they considered your highest rating only after a set number of games.
