what would a my wizard chess game be like?

Not sure if anyone has ever discussed this type of variation before. What if the game added 1 or 2 pieces per side, but they were called wizards, and would move like any other pieces including the knight? Adding squares to keep the board square as well.
Im sure my concept probably wont work but is fun to think about.
